Final Fantasy IV is by most regards a very old game. There has been quite a long time for people to hack the game and find cheat codes for the Game Genie, Pro Action Replay, and other "game enhancing" cheat devices. Below are some cheat code documents as well as links to great places to find cheats. Most of these pertain to Final Fantasy II SNES, however some are specific to Final Fantasy IV SFC. Please note that the SNES version codes GENERALLY do not work on the SFC version of the game and vice versa. Basically I am hosting various cheat code compilations I have found over the years so that everyone has access to the information. Also, all of these cheat codes were authored by others, to date I have not created any cheat codes for the game.
